Project Title: Stratford Road, Nash, Buckinghamshire

Description: Nash Village Hall Modernisation

This Grade II listed property was in need of a major facelift and the Nash Village Hall Committee’s brief was to provide a simple but elegant design that met with the approval of the local Planning Department and Villagers as well as be within the tight budget.

To the delight to the Villagers, the design successfully secured a substantial grant from Waste Recycling Environmental Limited (WREN) and so meant that the project after many years of planning could finally go-ahead.

The proposal included a prominent new entrance which provided separation from the main hall, inclusion of much needed Male and Female Disabled toilets. The provision of a large storage room which also transformed as a playroom for the weekly Village Youth club meetings.

The Project was completed on time and within budget and was celebrated with a Grand Opening Ceremony arranged with the local MP.
